A resort pool should give you a reason to stay.

You check into a resort for a night. Then you see the pool, and suddenly checkout feels like a personal attack. It isn’t just somewhere to swim — it can be the view, the landscape, the playground, the beach, the wellness experience, or the quiet corner.

A pool doesn’t have to be just a pool.

The view

Sometimes it should become the view.

At Tapovana by Marriott, Sakleshpur, the infinity pool meets the valley. You don’t just swim — the valley swims with you.

That’s the magic of an infinity pool. Not the edge. The illusion that there isn’t one.

The landscape

We didn’t build a pool in nature. We built nature around the pool.

Somewhere to disappear to

Hills, greenery, streams, waterfalls and water — less a resort than an escape. You don’t always need a giant attraction.

Together

And sometimes, the pool is the reason everybody comes together.

At SRK Estates, Nandi Hills, and at Ramee Guestline and Odyssey Retreat, we’ve added slides to the resort pool experience. Because not every holiday needs to be quiet.

The cousins arrive. The children jump in. Someone says “just one more slide.” Someone orders lunch. And suddenly nobody is checking the time.

Sometimes luxury isn’t solitude. Sometimes it’s having your people around you and nowhere else to be.

Intimate

Eight friends, a pool and absolutely no plans.

At Boho Orchards, Malur, that idea becomes wonderfully intimate — a private getaway where the pool is part of the experience of arriving with friends, closing the door behind you and forgetting that Monday exists.

Sometimes luxury isn’t solitude. It’s having your people around you and nowhere else to be.

Wellness, with a boat overhead

Water as part of a wellness environment — with a boat mounted above the pool. Apparently even the ceiling wanted to go swimming.

Wellness

Warm. Cool. Cold. Relax. Recover. Repeat.

Sometimes water wakes you up. Sometimes it slows you down. Sometimes it simply asks you to breathe.

Shape

Why should every pool be rectangular?

Because someone asked

A guitar-shaped pool

Apparently somebody looked at a swimming pool and thought: it needs a little music.

Part of the landscape

Water as one element of a larger leisure landscape, surrounded by greenery.

Water doesn’t have to follow a rectangle. Sometimes it should follow an idea.

Behind it

The water has to feel effortless. The engineering cannot be.

The guest sees blue water. We see everything that makes it behave.

Luxury is often just engineering that knows how to keep quiet. They enjoy the pool. We worry about the water.

Years later, nobody remembers the filter room. They remember the view, the waterfall, the sunset, the morning swim, the children refusing to get out.

That’s what we’re really building: places where people find a little more time for each other. And occasionally, a very good reason not to check out.
